	Our .925 sterling silver wire is offered at the one low spooled price making it excellent value for money. We also have fine silver wire which is the number one favourite of all jewellers when it comes to making ball head pins.

	A wire diameter can be described in gauge, inch or millimeter, we know it can be confusing and have a conversion chart to the right to help you work out what wire you need for the job. An 18 gauge wire is thicker than a 22 gauge wire. At the moment we sell our wires in 1 and 1/2 troy ounce spools, again it can be confusing on how much wire you will receive so we have provided apx guides to the length on the spool.

	Our wires are available in half hard and soft but please keep in mind the thicker the wire the harder it will be, generally 14 gauge wire down will only be stocked in soft. We also stock the thinner wires in soft only as they are usually used for embellishing, wire wrapping and crotchet or knitting. Remember you can harden wire by working, rubbing and hammering the wire.
