The beads are black agate which is often known as black onyx.
The back of the onyx necklace is made from 8 mm round onyx beads interspersed with 2 mm and 4 mm sterling silver round beads.
The inner front strand uses 6 mm faceted onyx round beads and small faceted Karen Hill tribe silver beads. The longer front strand alternates 8 mm faceted onyx rondells with 8 mm onyx saucer rondells and 2 mm sterling silver beads.
Sterling silver cones are used to bring the two strands into one with small heart beads to add interest. The necklace is finished off with sterling Snapeez® jump rings and parrot clasp with sterling silver chain for an extension.
0.014 diameter soft touch wire was used and 0.024 sterling silver Twisted Tornado crimps®,
The same beads are used for the earrings with sterling silver kidney ear wires.
