Here we have a stone associated with tiger eye and known by a few names. Eagle eye or hawks eye is named such as the beads are sometimes reminiscent of a bird of preys eye. Hawks eye is the precursor to tigers eye which is formed from the Hawks eye when the iron has oxidised to a brown colour. Sometimes this stone may be called blue tigers eye.
