Recently at the Perth Bead and Gem show I attended a workshop by Helen Everett of Aurorabeads.

The kit I worked on was for a Carnelian rosette. I held off stringing the rosette until I returned home so I could incorporate some lovely faceted Carnelian beads.

The rosette is made using brick stitch, it has a beautiful soft flowing feel to it and is very tactile

A pair of miniature rosette earrings compliment the necklace design and this is a lovely set for day or evening wear.
